The Great Lawn at Whistler Olympic Plaza plays host to all kinds of events throughout the Summer from impromptu family picnics to organized festivals and all sorts of free outdoor concerts. With Whistler and Blackcomb as the backdrop and amazing shops, cafe’s and restaurants right there, it’s a pretty amazing place to hang out.

Get your picnic, lawn chair/ blanket ready as the performers for this year’s Whistler Presents Outdoor Concert Series have just been announced and this year we’ll be seeing Lights, Stars, Bedouin Soundclash and many more talented artists.  For the full line up check out Whistler Presents Outdoor Concert Series.

Also don’t forget to mark the Canada Day weekend on your calendar, as the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra will once again grace the stage. Not sure there is any better place to take in the VSO.

On a real estate note, the market has been relatively quiet over the past couple of weeks. I suspect that the new mortgage rules are partly to blame. We do expect things to swing back the other way, as families prepare for the end of the school year and arrive here for the summer.
