Whistler has lots going on for this weekend from GoFest to the opening of the Whistler Mountain Bike Park to the start of the Outdoor Concert Series at Olympic Plaza. At this time of year you could easily make it a three sport day in Whistler- ski/board in the morning, play some golf and go for a paddle board on the lake all in one day! How will you spend your long weekend?
The Whistler market has slowed slightly with 22 sales in Whistler for the first two weeks of May compared to 30 sales for the same time in April this year. 64% of the sales for the first two weeks of May have been in the below $1 million price range(mostly condos), 13% in the $1 million to $2 million range and 23% of sales in $2 million to $3 million range. Currently we have 198 active listings in Whistler (not including timeshare weeks). We usually do see a slight slowing in the market this time of year as everyone switches gears, so we will monitor closely as we move forward.
